Developmental Edit Slot

Pricing for a developmental edit will be calculated by word count. My current rate is $.007 per word (i.e. 100,000 words = $700).

A flat, nonrefundable $100 deposit will be collected to secure your booking. This will be taken off the final price of your edit (i.e. 100,000 words = $700. $700 - $100 deposit = $600).

Please choose your first choice of month for your booking, then put your second choice in the indicated text field in case your first choice is already fully booked.

I do my best to keep up with updating my available slots, but occasionally someone reaches out before I have the chance to update! (This is a rare occurrence. Your first choice should be available.)

Yes! I will reach out via e-mail to confirm your booking within one week. Once you confirm, I will send my contract over for you to review and sign!

After factoring in your deposit, the remaining balance of your edit (to be determined by word count when I receive the manuscript) can be paid via PayPal, Square, Venmo, or Zelle. If you require an alternative form of payment, reach out and we can discuss your options.

Payment plans are available in four or six-week increments. Otherwise, you will be invoiced for half the remaining balance of your edit when I receive the manuscript, and the final half after completion of the edit.
